PRAYAGRAJ, Sept. 26 -- A motorcycle was hit and dragged for nearly 200 metres by the Durg Express in Pratapgarh after a youth allegedly tried to cross the railway tracks at an unauthorised point near Parashurampur village on the Prayagraj line on Friday evening. The youth escaped unhurt. The incident occurred about four kilometers from Maa Belha Devi Dham Pratapgarh Junction. Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel subsequently reached the spot and took the damaged motorcycle into custody. Officials identified the owner with the help of the vehicle's registration number and initiated an investigation.
