DSMNRU convocation: Students' tentative medal list announced
Lucknow, Aug. 29 -- In all, 86 women and 80 men students will be conferred medals during the 12th Convocation of the Dr. Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University (DSMNRU) scheduled for September 16.
A tentative medal list was issued by the controller of examination Amit Kumar Rai at the university on Thursday.
Rai said that 81 gold medals, 43 silver medals, and 42 bronze medals will be awarded during the convocation ceremony.
The Chancellor's Gold Medal for securing highest marks in all faculties will be awarded to Rajat Singh, a student of M Tech Computer Science and Engineering with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science, along with Lovly (sight impaired student of MA Hindi), Arpit Chaurasiya (hearing impaired student from MVA Painting) and Parmatma Kumar (Locomotor Disability student from MA Hindi).
This year, it is for the first time that the toppers among differently abled students dealing with different issues will also be felicitated with a gold medal. The Chief Minister's Gold Medal for
students securing highest in each faculty will be awarded to Kuldeep Chaurasia (a student of B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering) along with Ranu Tiwari (Visually Impaired student from B.Ed Education Special Education - Visual Impairment), Riya Mariyam
Eldo (Hearing Impaired student B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering) and Prasant Gond (Locomotor Disability student from B.Ed Education Intellectual Disability). Objections on the tentaive medal list can be raised till September 2, DSMNRU added....
