Drunk woman causes stir at Lko's Summit Building, police deny fight
LUCKNOW, Sept. 4 -- A woman allegedly injured her hand after smashing a glass panel during a late-night disturbance at Club Bindass in Lucknow's Summit Building, police said on Thursday, denying reports of a fight at the nightlife hub.
The incident took place during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday at the club on the first floor of the Summit Building in Vibhuti Khand, police said.
Police received information about a woman allegedly creating a disturbance inside the club while intoxicated. A police team, including women personnel, reached the spot and found her in an inebriated state.
"During the commotion, the woman allegedly struck the glass fitted on the club's podium with her hand, breaking it. She suffered an injury to her hand," said Upendra Singh, SHO, Vibhuti Khand.
The woman, a resident of Rajnikhand in Gomti Nagar, was given primary medical treatment, counselled and later sent home with a female friend accompanying her, police said.
"No assault took place at the spot and no bouncer was injured," police said, adding that reports of a fight at the Summit Building circulating on social media and other platforms were misleading and factually incorrect.
Police said the situation remained normal after the incident....
