Curated jungle safaris unveiled; bookings open
Lucknow, Dec. 15 -- The Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation has announced five curated and affordable jungle safari tour packages for Dudhwa National Park, Lakhimpur Kheri with bookings opening from December 15 to mark the start of the winter eco-tourism season.
Designed as one-night, two-day tours, the packages cater to families, students, wildlife enthusiasts and first-time visitors, offering options ranging from budget to premium experiences. Officials said the packages would encourage families and young travellers to connect closely with nature and wildlife, while also strengthening conservation-linked tourism in the state.
The move is expected to support local livelihoods and boost rural economies around protected forest areas. All packages begin from Hotel Gomti in Lucknow and include accommodation near the forest, meals, guided jungle safaris and trained support staff.
Prices range from Rs 4,751 per student for group tours to Rs 6,500 per person for standard packages, excluding GST.
