LUCKNOW, July 21 -- The Lucknow Municipal Corporation on Sunday honoured all 110 corporators for the city's achievement of securing third place nationally in Swachh Survekshan 2024-25. The felicitation ceremony was held at Trilok Nath Hall where mayor Sushma Kharkwal felicitated the corporators and praised their efforts. Municipal commissioner Gaurav Kumar, additional commissioner Namrata Singh, additional municipal commissioner Arvind Kumar Rao and senior officials also attended the event. Mayor Kharakwal called the ranking a result of "collective hard work and public support" and urged councillors to strengthen cleanliness efforts in their wards to target the top spot. She announced a city-wide Tiranga Yatra titled "Thank you to the people of Lucknow" to express gratitude to residents. All corporators and civic staff will participate with the national flag in hand. A separate grand event will soon be organised to honour Safai Mitras and other staff for their contribution to the achievement....
