VARANASI, March 14 -- The district administration in Varanasi has set up a control room at the district supply office to record complaints related to hoarding and blackmarketing of LPG cylinders and ensure their quick disposal. Additional district magistrate (civil supply) Amit Kumar Bharatiya said that three officials have been deployed in the control room. They include regional food officer and nodal officer Sushma Devi, and supply clerks Sukesh Sharma and Krishna Sharma. The ADM directed officials to record all complaints related to the supply or blackmarketing of petroleum products such as petrol, diesel, CNG/PNG and domestic or commercial LPG cylinders. The complaints will be entered in a register on a date-wise basis. He added that the officials will ensure that the complaints are addressed quickly through the concerned departments.
