Coaching centre owner dies of electrocution
PRAYAGRAJ, June 21 -- A 26-year-old coaching centre owner died after allegedly suffering an electric shock while repairing a faulty electrical board at his institute near the Pariyawan railway crossing in Pratapgarh district on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Arvind Kumar, son of Shivram and a resident of Natohi village under the Nawabganj police station area. He ran a coaching centre near the railway crossing opposite his village.
According to family members, a fault in the institute's electrical board had disrupted the power supply. Arvind allegedly attempted to repair the board himself when he came into contact with a live wire and fell unconscious after receiving a severe electric shock.
Family members and local residents rushed him to the Community Health Centre for treatment. Due to his critical condition, doctors referred him to a higher medical facility in Rae Bareli after providing initial treatment.
Arvind was taken to Rae Bareli for advanced treatment, where doctors declared him dead later in the evening. Sub-inspector Mithilesh Kumar confirmed the death....
