Lucknow, Aug. 9 -- Teachers, staff members and parents, along with 65,000 students from all 22 campuses of City Montessori School (CMS), celebrated the 93rd birthday of the school's founder-director, Bharti Gandhi, at the CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I Auditorium on Saturday. Gandhi cut a birthday cake during the celebration, which included educational and cultural presentations by students. On the occasion, mayor Sushma Kharkwal presented Gandhi with the 'Lifetime Achievement Honour' on behalf of the Lucknow municipal corporation in recognition of her outstanding contribution to education and social service.
