CMS, Chowk Campus, education conference emphasises need of moral values in expanding potential of students
Lucknow, March 13 -- City Montessori School, Chowk Campus, organised Divine Education Conference with great enthusiasm at the CMS, Kanpur Road Auditorium.
The chief guest, Samendra Shukla, joint director, Geological Survey of India (GSI), Lucknow, inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the lamp. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, he stated that the foundation of a good society is laid in schools, where the young generation receives ample opportunities to develop character and moral values while expanding their potential and talents.
He encouraged students to set ambitious life goals and broaden their perspectives accordingly. Welcoming the chief guest and other dignitaries, CMS founder-director, Bharti Gandhi, said that CMS is committed to transforming its students into 'total quality persons' with excellent character, enabling them to contribute to social development.
She emphasised that education is not merely about academic knowledge but about providing the younger generation with thoughts that allow them to use their creative energy for the upliftment of humanity. The students performed a soulful array of devotional music and songs that left the parents spellbound.
The cultural programmes showcased the moral, ethical, and spiritual education provided by the school.
Outstanding achievers in annual examinations, competitive tests, cultural activities, and sports were also honoured and rewarded.
