LUCKNOW, July 6 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday launched a coffee table book on the 65-acre Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Lucknow, saying the memorial serves as a source of inspiration for the younger generation by showcasing the lives and contributions of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The coffee table book was unveiled during the Shakti Kendra Sanyojak Sammelan. According to a Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) press release, it captures the architectural, cultural and historical features of the memorial through photographs and detailed visuals. Addressing the gathering, the chief minister said Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the Rashtra Prerna Sthal to the nation during the birth centenary year of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He said the memorial connects visitors with the ideals of leaders who made lasting contributions to nation-building. Yogi said the museum at the memorial presents the lives, thoughts and work of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and Atal Bihari Vajpayee, encouraging visitors to learn from their vision and public service. Member of Parliament Nitin Nabin, deputy chief ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, along with other dignitaries, attended the event. The chief minister and the guests paid floral tributes to the statues of the three leaders before visiting the museum, where they viewed the silicone statues, digital exhibits and modern displays depicting their lives and contributions. They described the memorial as an important heritage site for future generations. LDA vice chairman Prathamesh Kumar said the coffee table book presents the memorial through artistic photographs, including aerial drone views, the lotus-shaped campus, illuminated night-time scenes and the museum's contemporary architecture.
