CM to guide BJP workers during training meet in Gorakhpur today
GORAKHPUR, May 17 -- In an organisational push to energise cadres early and strengthen the party's election machinery well ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly polls, chief minister Yogi Adityanath will address and guide BJP workers during a large-scale training programme in Gorakhpur on Sunday.
The two-day district-level training camp, scheduled to be held in Sahjanwa, aims to strengthen booth-level management, organisational coordination, and election strategy among party workers.
The programme is expected to provide a detailed "victory roadmap" from booth-level mobilisation to the final polling stage.
District BJP president Janardhan Tiwari said the chief minister is expected to provide workers with a clear strategy for the upcoming elections. Party leaders said the training will focus on voter outreach, digital campaigning, and implementing grassroots strategies.
The BJP has already begun an extensive statewide organisational exercise, including voter list verification and beneficiary mapping, particularly in constituencies where the party faced challenges in previous elections.
Pradeep Shukla, who won the Sahjanwa assembly seat in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh elections by around 43,000 votes, is being highlighted by party workers as an example of strong local mobilisation....
