Lucknow, July 4 -- CM Yogi Adityanath on Friday directed officials to develop cancer treatment facilities in every district and establish a statewide Integrated Trauma and Emergency Network to ensure treatment within the "Golden Hour" in accident and medical emergencies. Reviewing proposals of the Uttar Pradesh State Cancer Task Force and the UP Trauma and Emergency Network (UPTEN), he asked officials to prepare a phased, time-bound implementation plan. He said the state's healthcare system should focus on prevention, early diagnosis, quality treatment, rehabilitation, research and technology-driven coordination. The chief minister also called for an AI-based digital referral system for real-time monitoring of ambulances, doctors, hospital beds and treatment facilities.
