Kanpur, April 9 -- Three junior clerks at the collectorate have been demoted to Class IV posts after failing the mandatory typing speed of 25 words per minute-twice. The were appointed in 2023 under compassionate grounds. As per rules, they had to clear a typing test within a year. They failed in 2024 and were given another chance, with increments withheld.
