Lucknow, June 25 -- : Uttar Pradesh chief secretary SP Goyal on Wednesday directed officials to intensify efforts to make the state number one in cumulative household solarisation under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana while reviewing key schemes with divisional commissioners and district magistrates through video conference. He said UP had set a national record by installing rooftop solar systems in over 50,000 households in each of March, April and May 2026 and asked districts to ensure every application is converted into installation.
