Lucknow, April 9 -- BJPs Uttar Pradesh president and Union minister of state for Finance, Pankaj Chaudhary, on Wednesday strongly criticised SP chief Akhilesh Yadav over his reported remarks on the Election Commission, saying such statements undermined democratic institutions and hurt the dignity of constitutional bodies. Chaudhary said the SP remembered the Constitution only when it suited its political interests and alleged that the opposition party questioned democratic institutions whenever it failed to get public support.
