VARANASI, May 18 -- Chandauli district will soon get its own dedicated Reserve Police Lines as the Police Lines complex is being constructed at a cost of approximately Rs.281.10 crore on 32.50-acre land in Bhojapur area along the Chandauli-Sakaldiha road, located around 5 km from the district headquarters. The project is likely to be completed by September. Akash Patel, superintendent of police, Chandauli, said that Reserve Police Lines complex will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. It will be a well-organised centre for administrative work that will help boost operational efficiency, thereby expediting police services to the people, he added. Officials said that the new complex will have various facilities, including residential quarters for police personnel and officers, an administrative block, a regional training centre, a hospital, a gymnasium and a transit hostel among others. This ambitious project will not only further strengthen law and order within the district but also provide police personnel with a modern working environment. It will enable general public to access better and more efficient police services. Police personnel will reside in flats housed within multi-story buildings, available in 4 BHK, 2 BHK, and 1 BHK configurations. At the Chandauli Police Lines, construction is currently underway for two primary structures: a ground-plus-14-story building and a ground-plus-9-story building....
