Centre reviews state's Deregulation 2.0 roadmap
LUCKNOW, July 18 -- The Centre's Deregulation Task Force on Friday reviewed Uttar Pradesh's progress under Deregulation 2.0, an initiative aimed at simplifying regulations, reducing compliance burden and strengthening the state's ease of doing business ecosystem.
A high-level delegation led by Bharat Harbanslal Khera, secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), held a review meeting with senior Central and state government officials at Lok Bhavan. Chief secretary SP Goyal presided over the meeting. Officials reviewed reforms across 23 priority areas, including Revenue, Health, Medical Education, Tourism, Power, Fire Services, Urban Development, Environment, Labour and Industrial Development. Discussions focused on removing procedural bottlenecks, streamlining approvals and improving public service delivery for businesses and citizens.
