JHANSI, March 9 -- A three-day Bundelkhand tourism stakeholders' meet began in Jhansi on Saturday, organised by the Union ministry of tourism to showcase the region's rich heritage and promote it as a tourist destination on the lines of Rajasthan. Around 80 participants, including tour operators, travel agents from Delhi-NCR, guides, hoteliers, homestay operators, officials and media representatives, attended the event. On Sunday, delegates visited Barua Sagar, Jhansi Fort and the city museum. Sessions focused on B2B networking and the NIDHI portal registration process. Bundelkhand Travel Agents Association president Anirudh Rawat highlighted partnership opportunities, while former ASI state head SK Dubey spoke on the region's ancient history.
