Agra, July 28 -- A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan killed his wife and then conveniently went to sleep outside the house. Villagers informed the police and relatives of the deceased wife. The accused man was arrested by police, who attributed family tension as the reason for the killing. According to superintendent of police (rural), Mainpuri, Abhishek Tiwari, the incident took place in village Bhurepur within limits of Karhal police station of Mainpuri. Sanjesh Yadav (40), of the 53rd battalion of BSF, was deployed in Jammu and home on leave. The couple had an altercation on Saturday night but they went to sleep in the house. The accused, Sanjesh Yadav killed his wife, Neetu (35) later in the night by striking her on the head. Thereafter, the accused went to sleep outside the house. The 9-year-old son raised an alarm after finding his mother dead on Sunday morning. The relatives of the deceased woman were informed who turned up and beat up the man. Karhal police station came to know about the incident and arrested Yadav. "Police is investigating the matter.
