CHITRAKOOT, Sept. 22 -- Two boys, aged 15 and 11, suffered serious burn injuries after an explosive object they found while playing near the Mandakini river in Tarauha village under Chitrakoot's Kotwali allegedly exploded when they tried to light it with a matchstick on Monday. Mannu and Sunil Kumar were taken to the district hospital, where doctors advised shifting them to Prayagraj Medical College. Their families instead admitted them to a private hospital. The boys suffered burns to their faces, hands and legs. Their family suspects the object was a crude explosive used for fishing.
