Agra, July 30 -- The body of a Class 10 student was found hanging in her room at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalay (KGBV) at Kasganj on Wednesday. The teenage girl was from Kasganj district and was studying and residing at this residential school. Officials from the education department and police reached the school after being informed about the incident. According to VK Singh, Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) at Kasganj, the girl, who was around 14 to 15 years old, was from a village in Kasganj district and was a Class 10 student at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalay in Sidhpura area of Kasganj district. "We have not found any suicide note and matter is now being investigated by Kasganj police. The body has been sent for post mortem and family members have been informed," said the BSA Kasganj. Amit Kumar, DSP Patiyali, reached the school and said that prima facie it appears to be a case of suicide but reason could not be assigned as yet. Family members of the deceased girl have sought fair investigation into the matter....
