LUCKNOW, Aug. 8 -- A 36-year-old man working for a digital lending company was found dead inside his locked car parked near Saleh Nagar crossing in Ashiana late on Thursday night. Police said they received information around 1 am on Friday that a foul smell was emanating from car. A police team reached the spot and found vehicle locked from inside. A man was seen lying inside. Ashiana SHO Gajendra Kumar Rai said, "A preliminary investigation suggests that the body had been inside the car for the past 24 hours. The body has been sent for post-mortem and the report is still awaited." The deceased was identified as Gyanendra Singh, a resident of Rae Bareli. Police said his brother identified him. Singh was married and had been living in a rented accommodation in Devikheda under Ashiana police station limits, police said.
