Lucknow, Aug. 22 -- The Executive Council of the Bharatendu Natya Academy on Thursday approved an increase in seats for its MPA Theatre programme from 20 to 35. A proposal for the expansion will soon be sent to the government, academy chairperson Ratishankar Tripathi said. The council also decided to reopen the newly constructed auditoriums, which had remained closed for the past few months. The council also finalised plans to create 17 teaching and non-teaching posts.
