LUCKNOW, Aug. 2 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will run the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign across the state from August 10 to August 15 with wide public participation. The outline of the campaign was finalised on Saturday in the presence of party secretary Anil K Antony, state president Pankaj Chaudhary and state general secretary (organisation) Dharampal Singh at the Vishweshwarya Auditorium in Lucknow. "Har Ghar Tiranga is not just about hoisting the tricolour at homes. It is a campaign to emotionally connect every citizen with the national flag. It is a powerful medium to take the spirit of respect for the nation, unity and the resolve of Viksit Bharat to every household," Antony said. UP BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary said the campaign should not only ensure the tricolour is hoisted in every home but also involve meeting freedom fighters and their families to seek their blessings and honour them. He urged that every worker should connect at least 50 households with the campaign. State general secretary (organisation) Dharampal Singh said the campaign, launched on PM Modi's call, has now become a massive mass movement of patriotism.
