BJP pitches 'Yog Se Nirog' msg across U.p.
LUCKNOW, June 22 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised yoga programmes across Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, promoting the message of "Yog se Nirog" and highlighting role of yoga in achieving holistic health and well-being.
State BJP President and union minister of state for finance Pankaj Chaudhary participated in a yoga session in Msaharajganj.
BJP national general secretary Arun Singh participated in a programme in Hapur, while deputy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak joined yoga sessions in Prayagraj and Lucknow, respectively. State general secretary (Organisation) Dharampal Singh also took part in an event in Rajajipuram, Lucknow.
State BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary participated in the event in Maharajganj, reaffirming the commitment to the Fit India movement.
Dharampal Singh joined local residents in a yoga session at Rajajipuram.
State BJP vice-president Manvendra Singh said that on International Yoga Day, union ministers SP Singh Baghel, Jayant Chaudhary, Hardeep Singh Puri, and BL Verma participated in yoga programmes in Agra, Meerut, Sonbhadra, and Lucknow, respectively.
