LUCKNOW, March 17 -- Rajeshwar Singh, the BJP MLA from Sarojininagar, has written a letter to chief minister Yogi Adityanath regarding introduction of education in artificial intelligence (AI), digital literacy, and cyber security in the schools of Uttar Pradesh. "The world has today entered into a new era of AI, data economy and cyber security. The direction and momentum of all sectors, including education, employment, industry, governance, and national security, will be determined by these technologies. Under these circumstances, it becomes imperative that our new generation be equipped with the knowledge and skills related to these modern technologies right from the school level," Singh wrote. "Several countries, including China, Singapore, UAE and Finland, have understood the concept and significance and have begun AI education at school level. Students from Class 6 can be introduced to AI," the MLA said. "A state-level AI digital mission be prepared for state," Singh added....
