VARANASI, April 7 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party's Kashi region honoured its veteran workers from the Jan Sangh era on the party's foundation day on Monday (April 6). Kashi region BJP president Dilip Patel, Varanasi district unit president and MLC Hansraj Vishwakarma, and MLC Rai Dharmendra Singh honoured the senior workers by garlanding them, draping them with ceremonial Angavastrams (honorary stoles), offering sweets, and extending their best wishes. Patel stated that the BJP is the only political party in the country that works with the spirit of "Nation First." He added that, inspired by the ideals of nationalism, democratic values, and integral humanism, the party has always remained firmly committed to nation-building and social welfare. BJP district president Vishwakarma said that the party's Foundation Day is not just a commemoration of its formation, but a symbol of its commitment to serving the nation, ensuring good governance, and elevating India's stature globally. He added that under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has established a distinct identity on the global stage....
