Dehradun, Feb. 15 -- Ahead of the 2027 assembly elections, a core group meeting of the state Bharatiya Janata Party unit was held in Dehradun on Saturday in the presence of Union minister for health and family welfare and former national BJP chief JP Nadda. State BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt said the meeting focused on three key issues, including coordination between the government and the organisation, expansion of the party structure, and training of workers ahead of the 2027 assembly elections. He added that the first agenda was to further strengthen coordination among MPs, MLAs and ministers to ensure better synergy between the government and the party organisation. Bhatt said a meeting of district presidents, district office-bearers and state in-charges will be held on February 17 to chalk out the roadmap. He said the second focus area was preparing a structured plan for outreach programmes, while the third was training of party workers.
