Varanasi, May 5 -- A poster by Chanchal Devnani, a Zoology research scholar at BHU, ranked among the top 10 out of about 230 presentations at the Human Genome Meeting 2026 in Athens (April 21-24), the university said. Guided by prof Gyaneshwer Chaubey, she presented research on the genetic history of the Sindhi population. The work was praised for rigour and relevance. Devnani called it a major milestone.
