LUCKNOW, Aug. 21 -- Bhootnath market in Indira Nagar here will get wider roads, organised footpaths and decorative lighting under a Rs 7.43-crore project launched by the PWD, officials said on Thursday. The project, aimed at improving traffic movement and pedestrian access in the busy market, includes widening Bhootnath Temple Road and developing pedestrian facilities. Decorative lights will also be installed to improve visibility and enhance the market's appearance. Lucknow East MLA OP Srivastava said the work would help develop the place as a more organised commercial hub. Suggestions from traders and residents would be considered, he said.
