Bhagwat, Yogi in Vrindavan today
AGRA, April 7 -- Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat will be in Vrindavan on Tuesday (April 7) to participate in an event at Malukpeeth Ashram which chief minister Yogi Adityanath is also scheduled to attend.
Kirti, an RSS office bearer for Braj Prant, said Bhagwat will stay in Vrindavan for a few hours after arriving from Delhi. Mathura district magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh confirmed the CM's proposed visit. Yogi will arrive at Kheria airport of Agra at 2.15 pm and will for Vrindavan by a helicopter before returning to Rahankalan helipad in Agra at about 4.25 pm, he said.
The CM is also scheduled to lay the foundation stone for a mega housing project by the Agra Development Authority launched as 'Greater Agra'. In view of the CM's visit, Jaiveer Singh, tourism minister and the minister in charge for Agra, on Sunday held a meeting with party leaders and district administration to review the preparations for the event, which includes a public meeting to be addressed by the chief minister in Rahan Kalan area in Agra.
Greater Agra, the ambitious project of Agra Development Authority, is coming up in area of 449.65 hectare land in Raipur village and Rahan Kalan at an estimated cost of Rs 5,142 crore....
