Bahraich, May 20 -- From working in agricultural fields to receiving an international honour at London's Royal Albert Hall, 23-year-old Naina Chauhan from Bahraich has emerged as a symbol of hope for girls in rural Uttar Pradesh. Naina was recently awarded the prestigious Amal Clooney Women's Empowerment Award during The King's Trust International's 50th anniversary celebrations in London. The award recognises young women who have overcome adversity and brought positive change to their communities. Born in Patel Nagar village of Risia block, Naina grew up amid poverty and social barriers that nearly forced her to abandon education. She supported her studies through farm work, tuition classes and scholarships before graduating and joining a social service organisation. Today, she works as a life skills trainer, encouraging girls and women in rural areas to pursue education and resist social evils like child marriage. "This award belongs to every girl striving to change her life and community," Naina said after returning home on May 17--Shariq Rais Siddiqui...
