LUCKNOW, Sept. 3 -- Hamida (56), a resident of Jankipuram Extension area, died of suspected diarrhoea while undergoing treatment at Balrampur Hospital here on Monday night. This is the third death in the area in a short span of time, stated Vinay Krishna Tripathi, general secretary, Jankipuram Extension Welfare Committee. Tripathi alleged that the health department is providing misleading information rather than taking responsibility for the spread of diarrhoea. Hamida was admitted to the Jankipuram Trauma Center on August 19 with complaints of vomiting and loose motions.
