Lucknow, March 8 -- The Ram Jharokha Auditorium at the Botanical Gardens of CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) resonated during a cultural programme 'Gulab Bari' organised by the cultural groups Katharang and Aangan on Saturday. Before the performance, Malini Awasthi explained that the Gulab Bari Holi of Banaras is world-famous. Through this event, they attempted to present a miniature version of that tradition while simultaneously celebrating the arrival of the month of Chaitra and the joy of Phagun. A unique feature of the evening was how the audience expressed appreciation. Instead of applauding with claps, they showered rose petals in the air to encourage the artists, filling the entire atmosphere with fragrance.
