LUCKNOW, Oct. 27 -- Amity University Uttar Pradesh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Invest UP at the GCC Innovation Summit 2026 on Monday. The partnership aims to promote research and innovation, develop industry-oriented skill development programmes, create internship and placement opportunities, and encourage entrepreneurship and joint research initiatives. The MoU was signed in the presence of Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and senior officials from Invest UP and Amity University. Pro vice-chancellor prof Anil Vashisht, deputy pro vice-chancellor Wg Cdr (Dr) Anil Kumar, and officer on special duty (OSD) to the pro vice-chancellor, Col Vivek Mathur, were present during the signing. The agreement was part of a series of MoUs announced at the GCC Innovation Summit 2026 to accelerate technology-led growth in Uttar Pradesh.
