New Delhi, Aug. 23 -- Money Grewal put in an all-round show for Central Delhi Kings to help defeat West Delhi Lions by 21 runs in the Delhi Premier League 2026 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday. Batting first, he top-scored with a quickfire 42 off 16 balls, ensuring that Central Delhi posted a commanding 232/8. He then took 2/48 bowling pace to help defend the total. Openers Krish Yadav and Hiten Dalal provided a steady start in a chase of 233 before Grewal dented their hopes by dismissing Dalal and skipper Nitish Rana. Ankit Rajesh Kumar's fighting knock of 61 off 30 went in vain as Central Delhi bowlers consistently chipped in with wickets. Keshav Dabas (2/38) and Tejas Baroka (2/28) also chipping in with wickets. Earlier, Central Delhi posted a commanding total and Grewal injected some much needed momentum in the innings. Keshav Dabas scored 26 off 19 balls, while captain Jonty Sidhu contributed 19 off 10.
