PRAYAGRAJ, Sept. 4 -- The higher education department of the Union government has invited applications for the post of vice chancellor of the Allahabad University. The vice-chancellor is expected to have the highest level of competence, integrity, ethics and commitment towards the institution. The requisite qualifications for the post include a minimum of 10 years of experience as a professor in a university or 10 years of experience with proof of demonstrating academic leadership in a reputed research and/or academic administrative organisation. Interested candidates can apply online through the Samarth Portal of the Ministry of Education till 5 pm on October 2.
