LUCKNOW, June 26 -- The condition of Jayant Gupta, one of the survivors injured in the devastating Aliganj fire tragedy, remained stable on Thursday, doctors at King George's Medical University (KGMU) Trauma Centre said. "Jayant jumped from the second floor of the building to save his life after the fire spread rapidly and smoke filled the premises. His condition is stable, and investigations and tests are being conducted regularly to ensure proper medical care," said Dr Prem Raj Singh, chief medical superintendent of the Trauma Centre. According to family members, Gupta worked at an animation training institute located on the third floor of the building and was the sole earning member of his family.
