LUCKNOW, July 2 -- Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University is set to begin online learning from the next academic session, giving working professionals a chance to complete their degrees, while staying in their jobs. The move comes after the university secured a NAAC A+ grade, meeting a key eligibility criterion for launching online programmes. University officials said the framework for online courses is under development and will be placed before the academic council for approval once finalised. Anurag Tripathi, dean, undergraduate courses, said a university can start online courses only after at least one batch of students has graduated. "The students will be connected with a Learning Management System which will be utilised for attending lectures, submitting assignments and other academic purposes, while the examination will be conducted in an offline mode," he said....
