Akhilesh visits injured at KGMU, points towards 'corrupt' clearances
Lucknow, June 24 -- Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav roundly criticised the Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday for alleged negligence and corruption in granting fire safety clearances, holding it responsible for the tragic fire that killed 15 people in Aliganj area of the state capital on Monday.
After visiting the injured at KGMU, Yadav expressed deep grief over the loss of lives.
Reacting to his allegations UP deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said, "It's sad that so many people have lost lives and Akhilesh Yadav is doing politics over it. He should know that this illegal building was made during SP regime. It was your people who first sealed it and then opened it." htc...
