Haridwar, June 10 -- With less than six months remaining for the Ardh Kumbh Mela, the Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad, on Tuesday expressed satisfaction over the pace and quality of ongoing fair-related infrastructure works. The endorsement comes as a marked shift from last year, when the Parishad had raised concerns over delays in the commencement of several Ardh Kumbh projects. Following inspections of various project sites over the past few days, Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad President Mahant Ravindra Puri Maharaj praised the efforts of the Mela administration in ensuring timely execution of the works. "From new Ganga ghats and bridges to roads, healthcare facilities, water and power supply infrastructure, and the new Mela city control room being constructed adjacent to the existing Central Control Room near Har Ki Pauri, the progress has been satisfactory. Seers are happy with the way the Mela administration is working to ensure a grand Kumbh fair. Site officials briefed us in detail about all major projects and assured us about the quality of construction.
