LUCKNOW, July 8 -- In a first for Indian Railways, the Lucknow Division of the North Eastern Railway (NER) has launched an AI-powered Sign Language Train Information System at Platform No. 1 of Badshah Nagar Railway Station, making real-time travel information accessible to hearing-impaired passengers through Indian sign language. The initiative, launched on Tuesday, has been developed by the division's Signal and Telecommunication Department.
