LUCKNOW, March 24 -- Passengers travelling from Lucknow to Dudhwa National Park can now book tickets online. The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has made its air-conditioned bus service available on the digital platform from Monday. According to regional manager Amar Nath Sahay, the AC premium bus will depart daily from Qaiserbagh at 8 am. It will reach Dudhwa National Park at 1:30 pm via Sitapur, Lakhimpur and Palia. The bus will then continue to Gauriphanta and arrive there at 2 pm. On the return journey, the bus will leave Gauriphanta at 3 pm and Dudhwa at 3:30 pm. It will reach Qaiserbagh bus station in Lucknow by 9 pm the same day. The distance between Lucknow and Dudhwa National Park is about 232 km. The fare has been fixed at Rs.498 per passenger. For Gauriphanta, which is about 251 km from Lucknow, the fare is Rs.536. Officials said the online booking system will make ticket booking easier. It is expected to help tourists and local passengers travel comfortably to the forest region. They also believe it will encourage more tourists to visit Dudhwa, which is a well-known wildlife destination in Uttar Pradesh....
