ABVP seeks accountability from INDIA bloc ministers
LUCKNOW, July 28 -- Students affiliated with Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) at Lucknow University on Monday protested, demanding accountability from education ministers in Jharkhand, Punjab, Kerala and Karnataka ruled by the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) bloc parties over alleged examination irregularities following Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation.
Student leader Jatin Shukla said Pradhan's resignation showed the Centre had listened to students.He urged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal to seek similar resignations from the education ministers in states governed by their respective parties.
Another student leader, Alok Mishra, alleged irregularities in several state public service commission examinations. He called on the opposition to launch a nationwide agitation against the education ministers of those states, saying ABVP would support such a campaign....
