Absconding suspended BSA arrested in Delhi
LUCKNOW, June 18 -- The Gorakhpur police on Tuesday night arrested suspended Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) Shalini Srivastava from Delhi, nearly four months after she went absconding in connection with a teacher suicide case, police officials informed on Wednesday. Singh allegedly died by suicide by hanging himself in Gorakhpur's Shahpur locality on February 20.

Following the registration of the FIR, the state government suspended Srivastava from service. Police initially announced a reward of Rs.10,000 each on the arrest of Srivastava and Sanjeev Singh, which was later increased to Rs.25,000. After months of searches and raids conducted by multiple police teams, Srivastava was traced and arrested from Delhi, officials said. Police said she is being brought to Gorakhpur and will be produced before a court. Efforts are continuing to trace and arrest co-accused Sanjeev Singh....
