7.19mn Ayushman health accounts in rajasthan, second highest in country
Jaipur, June 3 -- Rajasthan has emerged as one of the leading states in India's digital healthcare transformation, securing the second position nationwide with more than 71.9 million Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) IDs created under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).
The achievement comes as the number of ABHA accounts across the country crossed the milestone of 900 million in 2026, further strengthening citizen-centric digital healthcare services.
Officials said the rapid adoption of ABHA IDs in Rajasthan reflects the state government's efforts to expand quality healthcare services from villages and hamlets to urban centres through technology-driven initiatives.
The state has implemented the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, enabling patient records to be securely maintained through unique ABHA IDs and making access to healthcare services easier across hospitals.
The growth in ABHA accounts has been significant over the past five years.
Nationwide, the number of accounts increased from 147 million in 2021 to 304 million in 2022, 506 million in 2023, 722 million in 2024 and 845 million in 2025, before crossing 900 million in 2026....
