Jhansi, May 27 -- The police have arrested seven youths for allegedly running an online fraud racket linked to Chinese gaming applications, while three accused are still absconding. SSP BBGTS Murthy said the gang lured people with promises of quick profits through online gaming and betting platforms. The arrested accused were identified as Ragib Ahmed, Sunny Amarya, Sohail Khan, Anubhav Singh, Danish Khan, Saurabh Vishwakarma and Devesh Kumar Gautam. Three others -- Harsh, Dhruv and Salaam -- are on the run. Police said the racket operated through 114 mule bank accounts obtained from people in exchange for small payments. More than Rs 4.35 crore in 19 bank accounts has been frozen. Investigators also found illegal foreign currency transactions worth nearly Rs 38 crore.
