Lucknow, March 1 -- Six IAS officers from Uttar Pradesh have been empanelled by the Centre for appointment at the level of secretary and equivalent posts. Three of these officers are already on the central deputation. The empanelled officers include Alok Kumar-First (1993 batch), Leena Johri (1994 batch), and 1995 batch officers Mritunjay Kumar Narayan, Santosh Kumar Yadav, Bhuvnesh Kumar and Sanjay Prasad. Following their empanelment, they are now eligible for posting as secretaries or in equivalent senior positions in the Union government. Alok Kumar-First is currently serving as additional chief secretary, industrial development department. Sanjay Prasad is presently additional chief secretary to the chief minister and the home department. Leena Johri is currently posted as additional chief secretary, women and child development department. Mrityunjay Kumar Narayan is already serving at the Centre as registrar general and census commissioner of India. Bhuvnesh Kumar is posted as chief executive officer of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), while Santosh Kumar Yadav is serving as chairman of the NHAI....
