LUCKNOW, Aug. 22 -- A 55-year-old man with more than 40 criminal cases against him was among two alleged chain-snatchers arrested by Hussainanganj police, who recovered a scooter stolen three months ago and the chain allegedly snatched using the vehicle in Sarojininagar. A separate FIR under Section 304(2) of the BNS had been registered at Sarojininagar police station in this connection. Police identified the accused as Kishore Sharma, 55, a resident of Duda Colony in Dubagga, and Abdul Qayum, 58, who lives in the Begariya Road area. The duo were arrested early on Friday following a tip-off, police said. According to ACP Hazratganj Rajneesh Verma both men admitted to being involved together in theft and snatching incidents and said they used the money earned from such crimes to meet their daily expenses. htc...
