New Delhi, May 4 -- A five-year-old boy died of injuries allegedly due to a hanging kite string in northeast Delhi's New Usmanpur on Sunday, police said, adding that a case has been registered. According to police, information was received at New Usmanpur police station from Jag Pravesh Chandra (JPC) Hospital regarding the admission of an injured child. A police team reached the hospital, and found that the boy had been critically injured after coming in contact with a falling string. Police said preliminary inquiry revealed that the boy was on a motorcycle with his mother and uncle a kite string fell from above and caused severe injuries to the child. He succumbed to injuries during treatment at JPC Hospital, officers said. A case under BNS sections 106 (causing death by negligence) and 223 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) has been registered at New Usmanpur police station....
